First tomato of the summer. I picked this a few days later and made a lovely tomato sandwich with basil, mayo and provlone cheese.

Later did a taste test between the 2 heirlooms I was growing - Pantano Romanesco and the Cherokee Purple.

The pantano was too tart, but the cherokee had the perfect balance of sweet and tart. Yum! I know what I'll be growing again next summer.

Accidently picked this yesterday. I was going to wait until it turned red, but when I tilted it up to get a better look it snapped off. Damn. I have tons more growing, but this one was the biggest so far.
